# Ve.N.To

> Ve.N.To, the IBA official recipe: 45 ml grappa, 22.5 ml lemon juice, 15 ml honey mix and 15 ml chamomile cordial. Shaken and served on the rocks, garnished with lemon zest and white grapes.

Grappa, lemon, honey and chamomile. A modern Italian sour with a soft floral finish.

- Strength: about 12% ABV once diluted by ice, about 1 standard drink (14 g of alcohol each)
- Volume: 103 ml (3⅜ oz) before ice, about 150 ml in the glass
- Taste: Sour, Sweet, Herbal

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

- 22.5 ml (¾ oz) [Lemon juice](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/lemon/index.md)
- 15 ml (½ oz) [Honey mix](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/honey/index.md) (honey loosened with chamomile tea)
- 15 ml (½ oz) [Chamomile cordial](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/chamomile-cordial/)
- Few drops [Egg white](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/egg/index.md) (optional)

## Method

1. Pour all ingredients into the shaker.
2. Shake vigorously with ice.
3. Strain into a chilled small tumbler glass filled with ice.

## Garnish

Lemon zest and white grapes.

## Notes

If desired water can be replaced by chamomile infusion in the honey mix.
