# Tuxedo

> Tuxedo, the IBA official recipe: Old Tom gin, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, absinthe and orange bitters. Stirred and served up in a chilled martini glass.

Old Tom gin and dry vermouth with maraschino, absinthe and orange bitters. A 19th-century Martini variant.

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

- 30 ml (1 oz) [Dry vermouth](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/dry-vermouth/index.md)
- ½ bar spoon [Maraschino liqueur](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/maraschino/index.md)
- ¼ bar spoon [Absinthe](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/absinthe/index.md)
- 3 dashes [Orange bitters](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/orange-bitters/index.md)

## Method

1. Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes.
2. Stir well.
3. Strain into chilled martini cocktail glass.

## Garnish

Cherry and lemon zest.
