# Sidecar

> Sidecar, the IBA official recipe: 50 ml cognac, 20 ml triple sec and 20 ml lemon juice. Shaken and served up in a chilled cocktail glass.

Cognac, triple sec and lemon. The brandy sour that defined the 1920s.

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

## Method

1. Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker, shake well with ice, strain into chilled cocktail glass.
