# Jungle Bird

> Jungle Bird, the IBA official recipe: 45 ml blackstrap rum, 22.5 ml Campari, 45 ml pineapple juice, 15 ml lime juice and 15 ml demerara syrup. Shaken and served on the rocks, garnished with a pineapple wedge.

Blackstrap rum, Campari, pineapple and lime. Bittersweet tiki from 1970s Kuala Lumpur.

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

- 15 ml (½ oz) [Lime juice](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/lime/index.md)
- 15 ml (½ oz) [Demerara syrup](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/demerara-syrup/)

## Method

1. Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
2. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.

## Garnish

A pineapple wedge.
