# Gin Fizz

> Gin Fizz, the IBA official recipe: 45 ml gin, 30 ml lemon juice, 10 ml simple syrup and a splash of soda water. Shaken and served tall without ice, garnished with lemon slice, optional lemon zest.

A gin sour lengthened with soda and served without ice: crisp, frothy and tall. Same ingredients as the John Collins, but shaken and topped with only a splash of soda.

- Taste: Sour, Sparkling

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients with ice except soda water.
2. Pour into thin tall Tumbler glass, top with a splash soda water.

## Garnish

Lemon slice, optional lemon zest.

## Notes

Serve without ice.
